Glass Railing SB7060

A glass railing mounting system which consists of a shallow, discrete aluminum profile, ideal for small balconies, but can be easily modified and installed in a diverse range of other applications. Perfect finishing, contemporary design, unobstructed view, while at the same time ensuring a sturdy and robust structure, compliant with all safety regulations.

Its finish may either be plain, with the glass board specially ground and smoothened down, or with an aluminum handrail fixed on the top. The base is covered by two different types of caps: an oval and a rectangular one, which can both be anodized (natural or stainless steel, satine immitation) as well be electrostatically coated in any RAL colour.

An impressive visual spectacle can be achieved by applying LED stripes inside the base. The light is diffused around the crystal surface’s edges, while the main board maintains its transparency.

Railing mounting system, which consists of a detachable base of EN AW 6060 T66 alloy for glassboard support on finished flooring. The base consists of three aluminum profiles, two of which clamp on the glassboard, and the third is the external system cover (square or oval). The bases are screwed onto stable ground with M8 metal plugs (minimum) made of galvanized or stainless steel.

The glassboard is 10mm to 12mm in thickness, up to 60cm in height, while with the addition of a handrail it can reach 100cm. The bases’ size and distribution is determined by the thickness and height of the glassboard. System covers can be easily removed and replaced without causing damage to the flooring, not to the system itself. Handrails are optional and available in the same colour as the covers.
